Hey Ravens,
If you grew up with One Tree Hill, you know that some stories never really leave you. For years, fans have wondered about The Comet, the novel Lucas Scott wrote that became a cornerstone of the show’s heart. We only ever got fragments on-screen—but what if we could finally hold it in our hands, chapter by chapter?
That’s exactly what this project is all about.
Starting this week, I’ll be releasing a brand-new chapter of The Comet every week here on Substack. Think of it as both a love letter to One Tree Hill and a gift to the fandom—a chance to step into Lucas’s world in a deeper way, while we wait (and hope!) for Netflix to make good on that reboot we’ve all been buzzing about.
Each chapter has been carefully expanded from the hints, quotes, and themes the show gave us. You’ll recognize the emotional core—love, loss, searching, second chances—but also discover new details, settings, and moments that flesh out the story we always wished we had.
Why The Comet?
Because just like that shining streak across the night sky, One Tree Hill was fleeting yet unforgettable. And revisiting it through this book gives us a way to keep that light alive.
What to Expect:
Weekly chapter drops, first 3 chapters Free (every Thursday)
Illustrated chapter art to bring Elias, the story’s heart, and the world to life
A fan community to discuss, share, and speculate together
So whether you’ve watched One Tree Hill a dozen times or you’re discovering it now, I invite you to come along for this ride. Grab your front-row seat to a story that was once just fiction inside a fiction—and is now becoming real.
The first chapter of The Comet drops August 21, 2025.
Let’s bring this story to life, together.
It all begins with a comet…
