WATCH: Kamala Harris gives speech at Campaign Staff Meeting
She praised Biden, who was apparently present at the meeting over speakerphone, and talked about her intentions if she wins the election
Kamala Harris, who was endorsed by President Biden as the Democrat Nominee after dropping out on Sunday via an X post, gave a speech to campaign staff in Wilmington, Delaware at the campaign headquarters.
In the speech she praised President Biden for his ability to facilitate legislation across the isle, citing times in the Oval Office when she sat in on meetings with Congressmen to find areas where compromise could be reached. Joe Biden appeared to have been in attendance for the staff meeting via speakerphone, as he chimed in a couple times after Kamala made her statements on his track record during his term.
She also spoke to how she used to be a prosecutor, using it as an opportunity to point to how, “She’s used to dealing with people like Trump,” as she cited him and Project 2025 as reasons to support her bid for President of the United States.
She touched on some key issues for Democrats, such as abortion rights, gun control, and ease of access to voting.
For her whole speech, you can watch the video at the top of the article.
I can not deal with this idiot such stupid people and a racist to boot
She delivers a speech well. She is a little awkward in her word choice sometimes. She is a little nasally so I feel like I’m watching the Nanny. She also does that pause for dramatic effect like she in theater but I want to see media challenge her as much as they challenge Trump see if she can handle pressure.
