The House Rules Vol 4 show at Full Circle Book Co-op was a night filled with incredible House EDM music and a great atmosphere. The organizers did an excellent job clearing out the second room for the show, creating plenty of space for the crowd to enjoy the music.
As a long-time patron of Full Circle, I have seen the second room filled with tables on many occasions. I was curious to see how much room there would be for the House Rules show. To my delight, the bar area felt crowded throughout the night, but everyone managed to spread out in the show room, ensuring that nobody felt cramped. This also allowed space for the Poi swingers to showcase their skills without any hindrances.
The night kicked off with Jhumra, who wasted no time in getting the party started. His energetic set had everyone on their feet and created a pleasant and lively atmosphere. The transition to the next DJ, Louder, was seamless, and as his name suggests, the show got even louder. More people started to fill in, and the energy in the room was sustained throughout the entire event.
Unfortunately, I couldn't catch the name of the next DJ as it was getting a little more crowded by then. However, their set was fantastic, and the crowd was thoroughly enjoying themselves. I believe it was Stac Cato, but I apologize if I’m wrong. Regardless, their performance added to the overall excitement of the night.
As the night progressed, my crew and I were contemplating whether to step outside for some fresh air or call it a night, especially since we were celebrating a birthday and a few members had been drinking. Just as we were deciding, something unexpected happened that made our decision clear. One of my crew members was shoulder-checked by Mr. Wobbles, another DJ scheduled to perform. This unfortunate incident led us to prioritize the safety and well-being of our birthday crew, and we decided it was best to go home. I am happy to report just before we left Mr. Wobbles did come up and apologize to our homie.
This really put a damper on my plans as I had hoped to be able to actually write on the entire performance. I did notice Mr. Wobbles has seemed to go through a positive physical transformation, he was present, he apologized, and I hope he continues to improve in all aspects of his life.
It was disappointing that we didn't get to hear NY The Butterfly perform, as I've heard great things about her. However, from what I did catch, the House Rules Vol. 4 show was nothing short of fantastic. The organizers did an amazing job in creating a vibrant atmosphere, and the lineup of DJs kept the energy high throughout the night.
Overall the House Rules Vol. 4 show at Full Circle Book Co-op was a solid experience. The combination of talented DJs, a lively crowd, and the unique setting of Full Circle made it a night filled with great music and positive vibes.
