There will be a lot of pointing fingers as usual. But that's good — the more they blame each other, the more likely they are to spill some more beans.

Dems' objections, however, are laughable. Of course the administration didn't contact each Alphabet employee personally, and rank-and-file moderators likely didn't know where the orders were coming from. There's no contradiction there.

I agree. Based on their logic, nearly every subpoena or inquiry by Congress could be deemed “coercive”.

The «coercive» part is likely speculation;

but the «20 witnesses testified they were not subject to coercion» part is a glaring logic fallacy. It’s like saying «20 Chicago residents testified they were not shot last weekend, therefore there was no shooting at all».

The irony of this statement tho…

“Today, Rep. Jamie Raskin, Ranking Member of the House Committee on the Judiciary, issued the following statement after Alphabet, the parent company of Google and YouTube, informed the Committee that it would reinstate accounts previously banned for disinformation and violations of the company’s own policies, surrendering to political intimidation by House Republicans”

Even if this was an accurate representation of reality, the only reason we’re here is due to Biden admin’s political intimidation.

I come at this from a different perspective, as I view the parties as the uni-party, as puppets for the masters that work the strings.

Both "sides" do what they do to advance the agenda at the time,, whatever that is, ie censoring during the plandemic to guard what the planned outcome was in this instance.

As they quickly, but covertly, take us to technocracy/ ai governance, they won't have to censor us. They'll use techniques (social credit scores) to manipulate what we do/say that way.

So imo, I don't see this as good news, a victory, and something to be happy about. It may appear good at first glance, but imo they tend to give us breadcrumbs and take away loaves of bread. They KNOW where they're driving all of us, but they like to appease, keep us "happy" For the moment.😤

I largely agree with your sentiment. I would love to abolish the two party system. Although, at this point, I don’t know that it’d help all that much.

It's not easy to figure out our way out of this mess.

Are you familiar with Derrick Broze? He's got a substack. I haven't delved into his ideas to know enough about his "plans", but i think that his general goal is to step outside this present system.

Very much so!

My son follows him (more than I) and watches his videos, etc ..... He's got a new book out now too

It's gotta be you younger people who figure a way out. Things are changing SO MUCH that it's getting really bad for humanity, ie inflation, job loss (to ai), etc .....

Many blame us boomers but we were/are just cogs in the machine/ ones that were duped to fit in/comply...... :/

Yes, look him up
