Anxiety,
Hello my friend,
Travis here, we meet once again.
This time you seem to be in a full panic.
Why is that? Is it the end of the world?
Do you think there is no hope left?
I want to help you be at peace,
I want to be your calm,
Do you still remember me?
I hope to hear from you soon,
I love you,
-Self.
Dear Travis,
Would you ever dive further into your own personality to see what REALLY LIES WITHIN?
What purity is left over from the meals served prior?
The consequences of such collateral damage leave nothing to the imagination of what can be rationed out after depleting all hope.
Why keep going when all I am doing is getting strong?
Always and forever in your nightmares,
-Anxiety.
Dear Anxiety,
What an intense response to consolation and an offer for help. I know that I have been through mangled memories throughout the ringer of “Will I ever be good enough?” But lately those questions have transformed and have become
“I am worthy enough to survive amongst and alongside each and every one of you.” Gladly shall I push forward knowing what is to come, regardless of the pain, regardless of the loss. Love cannot be turmoiled today.
Thirty-six years into the future, I hope to still hold you close to my chest without being smothered dry of all my embers, energy, and light. I am aware of all your flaws and will still be there to love and nurture you. Through all the darkness we both shared and for future situations that may be harrowing to that same degree, I will still be here for you.
I hope you realize this conversation was meant to be helpful and to open your figurative eyes to the adventure that is healing. Please take this into consideration before following through with the paralysis of being so stagnant, I know you will make the right choice.
-♥T.
